Wanted!

For Trap and Trail Magazine

We want your trapping and hound stories for our magazine. For your

stories you will receive a FREE one year subscription to the

Trap and Trail Magazine (six issues a year). If you don't

want to send a story but would be interesting in subscribing to our magazine,

you can receive it free by getting two (2) of your friends to subscribe also.

Hopefully, with more stories, we can go to twelve issues next year.

These stories can be on your first trapline, some technique you like,

special catch, your favorite hound, why you enjoy this outdoor recreation or

anything that pertains to trapping or hound hunting from rabbit to bear to birds.

We want stories from the ladies and all the young trappers and hound hunters too!

Send photos, we'll return them.

Current Issue... March/April 2006 Volume 5/Issue 5 Note from the Editors Spring is not far off. Some of you will soon be Spring Beaver Trapping. I haven’t sold any winter beaver yet but what I’ve heard is, prices look strong. We’ve had a mild, record breaking, warm, winter here in Wisconsin. The coon have been out, moving throughout December and January. This is uncommon this far north. It is good to see there will be some for next year. The cat hunters did real well this year. Populations were up and so were the rabbits. The coyote hunters have had only a few good days, due to snow conditions. I hope this issue finds you all well and out there enjoying the great outdoors.
